Samuel L Jackson dons an I’m not Laurence Fishburne t-shirt

Popular culture
26 March, 2014

Seems like Samuel L Jackson still has a bee in his bonnet over the awkward moment when he had to roast a reporter for mistaking him for Laurence Fishburne. Jackson posted a photo of himself on Twitter wearing an “I’m not Laurence Fishburne” t-shirt.

Hollywood reporter Sam Rubin asked Jackson about his Super Bowl commercial in a recent interview, by the time he realised it was Laurence Fishburne in said commercial Jackson had already started the roasting.

Jackson reprises his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and is currently doing the promo rounds with co-stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. He has been pictured wearing the t-shirt during promo interviews.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is out on March 26.
