Rare Footage Of 2Pac and Biggie Freestyle

Popular culture
12 March, 2013

A video clip of 2Pac and Notorious BIG freestyling together at the Royalty Hotel has hit the spotlight. The video, which was shot by journalist Dream Hampton, dates back to 4 May, 1994.

The rare footage of the two iconic emcees took place six months before the now-infamous Quad Recording Studio session in which 2Pac was shot six times during a robbery attempt. The incident proved to be a catalyst in the East coast/West coast rivalry after ‘Pac accused Biggie and his manager Sean “Diddy” Combs of orchestrating the attack.
