Popular culture
1 October, 2024

The theme of this year’s UK Black History Month is ‘Reclaiming Narratives’. To celebrate, we’ll be publishing videos daily that celebrate the achievements of Black people in Britain who made significant contributions to British society and the diaspora.

31 Days of Black History playlist

By the end of the month, you should be able to name many historical figures in British history and discover activists and revolutionaries who continue to advocate for Black people in Britain today.

Head over to our YouTube channel, subscribe, and hit the bell icon to be notified when new videos are published.

It’s an ambitious programme. We hope you enjoy the videos and learn something new and interesting. Happy Black History Month!
