Weed smoking Miley Cyrus says stop violence at 2013 MTV EMAs

Popular culture
11 November, 2013

Miley Cyrus’s moves to stay forever relevant are working, ‘cos here I am blogging about her again.

Cyrus in Biggie Tupac dress

This time Miley’s attention seeking antics came on the red carpet at the MTV European Music Awards in Amsterdam on Sunday.  She strolled onto the red carpet in a dress/rag/t-shirt imprinted with the faces of Biggie and Tupac and the message “Please stop the violence”. She’s clearly eluding to the beef (waaay back in the day) between East Coast and West Coast rappers. I’m I bit out of the loop here: Is this beef still on-going? It must be if Miley got dressed up all special.

This important message comes from a girl who swings naked on a wrecking ball (I don’t care that she won best video award for the Wrecking Ball video), and got her wig snatched by veteran songstress Sinead O’Connor last month for her skanky antics.

As if the dress wasn’t enough, Miley took advantage of Amsterdam’s casual approach to marijuana/weed/whatever by smoking a blunt live on stage (see the video below).

Ooh child, I worry about you.
