Usain Bolt dresses as a woman for new Virgin ad and Jamaicans spew bile

Popular culture
8 January, 2014

Usain Bolt is playing a whole family of characters in Virgin Media’s latest multi-million-pound advertising campaign and black folks have lost their minds with hate.

Black folks, especially Jamaican’s have taken to Facebook and Twitter to show their narrow-minded homophobic bile. Why would they do this you ask? At the end of the advert, Usain is dressed as a woman, watching Mo Farrah on her laptop. I personally think the advert is funny and I’m hoping that Usain eventually learns enough about acting to go into film. But that’s just me.

At the very least, haters have accused Usain of selling out by dressing up as a woman, at the most extreme and ignorant; some folks have accused him of being gay. Yo! Black people sit your asses down and leave the man to earn his money. Are you paying his bills? Get your noses out of your bible’s and the man’s business and go learn some history.
