Suge Knight tells radio interview Tupac may still be alive

According to former Death Row Records label CEO Suge Knight, Tupac could still be alive.

Ever since Tupac’s much talked about Coachella appearance, crazed fans are beginning to re-wonder: Is Tupac really dead?

The rap mogul, who was in the driver’s seat of the car in which the artist was shot in 1996, addressed this question during a radio interview with KDAY Radio in Los Angeles. “Nobody seen Tupac dead. Maybe the question is … Pac’s not really dead … Pac’s somewhere else.”

Knight, 47, added that he gave $3million cash to the person who was supposed to cremate Shakur, but never heard from him again.

The interview, reported on TMZ, has reignited conspiracy theories that Tupac faked his own death.

Knight, along with P Diddy, was accused last year by an ex-LAPD detective of ordering the killings of Shakur and Biggie Smalls. They called the claims ‘ridiculous’ and ‘pure fiction.’

Knight was arrested in May 2010 for assault with  a deadly weapon, arrested earlier this year for possession of marijuana, and is serving 36 months probation for driving on a suspended license.

Tupac performed “Hail Mary,” “Gangsta’s Paradise,” (with fellow rap artist Snoop Dog), and “Come With Me.” Tupac even shouted to the crowd “What up Coachella!” in front of 75,000 music fans.

The crazed Coachella event even sprung a new user on Twitter, Tupac’s hologram. The Twitter account, which sent out a series of sarcastic and sometimes informative tweets, acquired 3,200 followers.

Since the hologram’s appearance, fans of the late Michael Jackson wonder if a Jackson-hologram may be in the works as well.

Events in History
On this day in 1949 A fascist mob congregated outside Carrington House in Brookmill Road, Deptford, London, the home of African seamen who have complained of racist treatment including being banned from pubs. Whilst 800 whites and 50 police battled outside the frightened occupants armed themselves with knives unsurprisingly. They were subsequently arrested for doing so and the rioters were not.
Person
On this day in 1918 Nelson Mandela was born.
