History, hidden in the streets of London?

Popular culture
22 September, 2008

Join Brother Tony Warner for a Blak Friday presentation: History, hidden in the streets of London? Let’s take a walk on the Black side!

Brother Tony will challenge the bias in schools and universities that gives the impression that racism and civil rights was an American issue as it totally ignores the struggles Black British people endured. He will give you the names and achievements of black people from the UK who fought against British racism here and abroad over the last 400 years. The highlight will be the unveiling of the amazing black history hidden in the streets, buildings and monuments of London. History that’s “in your face” in places like Westminster, St Pauls, National Gallery, New Cross, Bank, Leicester Square etc., but remains largely unknown due to false education and brainwashing.

Brother Tony is known for his great works as part of 100 Black Men, as well as for his critically acclaimed Black History Walks where his expertise on these guided tours of London is a crucial aspect of his presentations/films and educational work with schools and parents.
